What is Pacing?
Pacing is an important management strategy for a range of long-term conditions. It involves breaking up big chunks of activity, taking regular breaks and planning ahead. It’s not always easy to learn.
How does the appointment work?
The Group Pacing Masterclass was a trial service set up by Mel, OT student. Since it worked so well I’ve decided to continue it. The group pacing session will have 5 participants and will last for 1 hour. Classes will be carried out via Microsoft Teams. I will explain the theory behind pacing and offer generic strategies that you can add into your daily life. There will also be the opportunity to problem solve any issues you may have and discuss specific scenarios in a Q&A style.
How much does it cost?
£12 each for the 1-hour session. You also get a set of handouts to keep afterwards. I know money doesn’t grow on trees so payment plans are available on request.
How do I book?
Simply send me a message using the contact details below. I will message you back as soon as possible with further details. Appointments are available to people worldwide excluding The USA and Canada (sorry, nothing personal, it’s an insurance/certification issue). If you’re not from the UK please let me know which time zone you’re in when getting in touch to avoid confusion during the booking process.
